What should I do first in a plumbing emergency?

Will the job be finished the same day?

Our experienced techs complete most jobs on the appointment date. Larger work such as a whole house repipe or under slab tunneling is scheduled across a longer window, and we will tell you what to expect before we start.

How do you find a leak you cannot see?

The system is isolated and pressure tested first to confirm there is a leak at all, then acoustic listening equipment along with thermal and moisture readings narrow it to a spot rather than a room. That is what keeps the access hole small. Finding the leak properly means the repair addresses the actual cause rather than the symptom.

How do I know if I have a slab leak?

Common signs are a warm patch on the floor that moves with hot water use, the sound of running water with every fixture off, a water bill that climbs with no change in usage, and damp flooring with no visible source. A slab leak is confirmed by testing rather than by eye, because several of those symptoms have other causes.

What is a whole house repipe, and what is the warranty?

A whole house repipe replaces all of the hot and cold water lines in the property in one planned job rather than repairing them one failure at a time. Our re-piping specialists install Uponor PEX, backed with a 25 year warranty.

How do I know whether to repair a pipe or repipe the house?

A single leak in otherwise sound pipe is a repair. Several leaks across the same system in a short span usually means the pipe itself is at the end of its service life, and each further repair buys less time than the one before it. Polybutylene and galvanised supply lines both have a known service life, and pinhole leaks in copper rarely arrive alone.

How long does a water heater last?

A conventional tank water heater is generally considered to be near the end of its service life at around ten to twelve years, and failure risk climbs sharply after that. Rusty hot water, rumbling from the tank, or water pooling at the base are worth having looked at. A leak from the tank itself is a replacement, but a failed thermostat, element, or thermocouple is a repair.

Can you convert my tank water heater to tankless?

Yes. We offer service, maintenance, repair, installation, and conversions, from traditional tank types to modern tankless systems. A tankless conversion needs adequate gas supply and correct venting, so whether it is the right choice depends on the property.

Can you add a gas line for an appliance?

Yes. Our certified technicians safely install and repair gas lines for appliances and heating systems. A gas line is sized for every appliance it feeds at once rather than just the new one, and any new or altered line is pressure tested and held before an appliance is connected.
